One Woman’s Journey Through Ancient Mysteries and Modern Questions
Is there a way to connect faith, myth, and science? Dr. Imogene Drakes travels the world looking for the answer. Join her on her journey as she explores ancient sites, manages last minute mix-ups, and discovers unexpected friendships.
This isn’t just a travel story; it’s a front-row seat to what happens when you stop dreaming and actually go for it. You’ll get the real scoop: the good, the weird, and the hilarious. From the heights of Machu Picchu in Peru to the mysterious stones of Stonehenge in England from the bustling streets of Cairo, Egypt to the quiet wonders of the Galapagos Islands off the coast of mainland Ecuador, you’ll get a taste of what it’s really like to chase big questions about our past (and maybe yourself).

Dr. Imogene Drakes is a career scientist, spiritual researcher, and international speaker. Her passion for science ignited as a child and became the spark that would take her across six continents in search of the truth about religion, mythology, and science. She holds a Master of Science in Forensic Science from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City, and a PhD in Public Health from Walden University in Minnesota. She is the proud mom to twin sons and grandmother of six. Around the World in 42 Days: One Woman’s Journey Through Ancient Mysteries and Modern Questions is her third book.
